Steam Summer Sale

The Steam Summer Sale is on! Lots of games are reduced.

Here are the prices of some of my recommended favorites:
    Quake Live is $4.99 (down from $9.99)
    Doom is $35.99 (down from $59.99)
    Rocket League is $11.99 (down from $19.99)
    Portal 1 is $1.99 (down from $9.99)
    Portal 2 is $4.99 (down from $19.99)
    Half-Life 1 is $1.99 (down from $9.99)
    Half-Life 2 is $1.99 (down from $9.99)
    Defense Grid: The Awakening is $2.49 (down from $9.99)
    Left 4 Dead 2 is $3.99 (down from $19.99)
    The Talos Principle is $9.99 (down from $39.99)

The sale runs until July 4, 2016 10 AM PDT.

Doom dropped a lot...at least I got a free game with it when paying full price.

zombie trilogy looks similar to left for dead2. Why would I spend money when I have left for dead 2 collecting dust. :D

Four of us were supposed to get together on a weekend and work through the Left 4 Dead 2 multiplayer but it never happened :(

There are definitely similarities - not limited to the fact the l4d characters are included. :)

The gun play is completely different with an obvious emphasis on sniping. Gore is also much more gritty - emphasized by the cut scene animations on "skilled" sniping shots.

Overall I find it a lot more fun than L4D2 - which I own and happen to hate/never play. :mrgreen:

I already have more hours played in Zombie Trilogy than L4D2 and I have had L4D2 for like 4 or 5 years lol.

Btw - as an interesting twist.

Try turning the game down to the lowest difficulty and not use any sniping or explosives.

Nothing but secondary weapons, kicks, and stomps.

That gets ridiculous! :lol:
